Pickle Question

Okay, this is a multi-part question.
I've tried a couple times to make pickles, and it hasn't worked out as well as I would like. Here are some questions of mine.
1) Does anyone have a recommendation of pickles that you can buy? I've looked at pickled ginger, pickled daikon, and sauerkraut on Eden's website, but will bought products still contain the enzymes necessary for digestions?
2) Miso is a fermented product. If I eat miso soup at every meal, will that satisfy my need for enzymes?
