I've never worn make-up...and I'm 32!

I am overwhelemed with the amount of choices when it comes to make-up. That is probably why I am in my thirties and don't own or wear any. I would like to start, but I am looking for some guidance. Where do I go? How do I find the right colors? I don't even know how to apply it! Oh, and of course, vegan friendly cosmetics only. Any suggestions?
