Hello everyone! Thanks Alicia. This is a great site. Can't wait to try out all those recipes posted. I am from Long Island, New York and boy there are hardly any vegetarian or vegan restaurants around. At least in Suffolk county. Also, you think in this day and age when it is not a vegan or veget. restaurant they would at least have a generous menu for us.

I live in Southern California and we are blessed with many options, but when I go to chain restraunts with friends it is a bit harder to find food. I look up menus on line before I go out when I can. I can usually put something together for myself out of items on the menu. Most places are willing to accommodate, especially the chain restraunts (maybe they are afraid of a lawsuit).
