Vegan Halloween

Hi,
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, but I'm so sad about all the junk that's in typical Halloween candy. I'd like to do my part and hand out vegan candy this year.
I saw this list on a website for PetaKids:

What do you guys hand out?
That's great they're vegan, but my biggest issue with all this junk is all the other ingredients: corn syrup (you can pretty much bet that's genetically modified), artificial flavoring (whatever that means), and dye - in particular red dye, which many kids are allergic to. I love Halloween, but I may have to forego the candy. Individual raisins and pretzels may just be thrown out, so I don't know if those are a good alternative, organic candy is expensive, and no parent these days will let a child eat something homemade. Here's a link, though, for some very yummy organic lollipops. I almost never eat any candy other than 83% dark chocolate, but on rare occasions, I do like these:

Yay for Smarties! Not healthy, but at least they are cruelty free! Also you can hand out non edible things like stickers :)
Indeed, Halloween is a tough one. I did not celebrate this holiday as a child but i remember one year my mom bought a massive amount of toothbrushes and handed them out to trick or treaters! It might be a cute idea provided one buys them from a sustainable eco-friendly toothbrush brand and has the money to afford it ofcourse.
