New vegan in Ga

Hi, I'm Delaine. New vegan in Ga. Read the kind life about a month ago and started making the change. I'm married and a mother of two little girls(8 and 12). My kids have made a few changes but my husband just thinks I'm carzy. I talked with him about how important it is for us to be healthy because my mother died of a heart attack and so did his dad. He seem to get it a little, but he's just not ready to make changes YET. Hoping he comes around soon. I don't know any other vegans, so this site is great. Any other vegans in Ga out there?
