Vegan Timeline?

I want to slowly become vegan, and I am doing this for my high school senior project. I plan on going vegan for December 19 into January. But I do not see myself cutting food out right before I start. I want to take the next few weeks to start cutting foods out of my normal diet. Can anyone gave me a bsic timeline you may have followed to become vegan, for example give up cheese this week, next week eggs and milk, the week after that steak. Something along those lines.

Thankyou all!

That's a really individual choice. I gave everything up at once. I would make it mroe general than 'steak,' like give up red meat, then give up chicken, then eggs, then dairy. Or you could try to start with dairy. The most health benefits come from giving up dairy, but it's also the hardest to give up for some. So, you may not want to do it first if you think it might make you feel defeated because it's hard to give up. But I can't share personal experience on a timeline since I did it all at once, so those are just my thoughts on it. Really, you only have about five weeks until your December date, so it's not too soon to start giving up things weekly if that's how you want to go.

It was way easier than I thought. I was also more happier throughout the day and didn't feel like going to sleep right after school like I usually do. :) After 3 days it jus became a normal routine to skip on dairy and meat.
