Kuzu

I want to make the cheesecake and peach crumble from the book. I finally found arrowroot for the cheesecake, but nobody seems to know what kuzu is or where to find it.


Please help. What is kuzu? (a spice, powder, liquid, mix?) And where can I get it in British Columbia?
