Greetings from Scotland

Hi all! I have been a fan of the site for a while so thought it was about time I said Hello! I am a very recent convert., having been an on off vegetarian since my teens and two longer stints of veganism in the last couple of years, I finally got my copy of TKD. Wow what a great book. So I am now following a vegan diet throwing in a little superhero when the feeling arises. I cannot believe how different I feel. A mix of craxy detox stuff, but also some good side effects too.


I have a partner and 3 little kids (3-6) so I am cooking vegan in the house, the kids are vegetarian most of the time outside of the house and my partner is a throu and throu meat eater, but he is loving most of the dishes I am preparing.....so all in all it's going really well.


It'd be great to hear from anyone else in Scotland, or anyone setting out on this journey with a family and a crazy mix up of diets ....or hey, just anyone!

Isn't it so crazy cool how good you can feel by changing the way we eat??? I went through moments of complete marvel when I went vegan 8 month ago. I just couldn't believe that I could ever feel that amazing. Truly life changing! My boyfriend is a meat eater but is very supportive of my lifestyle change so I feel grateful for that. It sounds like you have the support of your loved ones which helps so much. So far my sister and cousin have gone vegan after eeing and hearing about the benefit from me and also tasting some of the lovely recipes from The Kind Diet. A bunch of other family members have become major flirts and are exploring the vegan world with an open mind. It' great!


I'm from New York but jut wanted to say hi. This website rocks and has such great information about so many things, I visit at least once a day! The Support and love I feel from Kind lifers is fantastic and it's a great community to be a part of. Much love Zoe!


I heard on BBC that there is crazy snow falling around your part of the world...is it a winter wonderland where you are? smiley-laughing.gif
