Hello, I'm a physician in the Los Angeles area. I advocate a plant-based (kind) diet. I am doing a mini-experiment for those wishing to transition to a plant-based lifestyle. We will be looking at the health benefits of a "kind" diet. We will be measuring various biomarkers (via bloodwork) as well as carotid artery ultrasounds. It is a 60 day trial. If you know someone that may be interested, please contact me. You can also learn more on my blog: www.theplantrx.com.

I've also been asked if one can participate if they do not live in the L.A area. My preference is that you do such that I can be more useful to you as well as the other people participating. That being said, I'm not completely opposed but I am slightly hesitant so we look at it on a case by case basis.

There's no hard work really except a few needle sticks and sharing your experience with others :) Otherwise, you are just switching your diet for 60 days!

It's going to be a fun experiment and I bet you can already guess what we think the results will be. But as they say...the proof is in the vegan pudding! smiley-tongue-out.gif

KInd Regards,

Jenna

P.S. If anyone else would like to participate with our group as an advisor, etc we should talk too. I know a few chef's have offered our newbies cooking classes which will be a huge help and a great experience. We will be featuring these events on the blog too!
