I am so happy to have found this community and the book The Kind Diet! My name is Melissa and I have been vegetarian for about a month and I have planned to go vegan at the start of this new year. I have slowly been eating less and less dairy and I feel like I am ready to quit it completely. I cannot begin to describe how much this book has inspired me. I have read other books that educated about eing vegan but I never felt the pieces connecting...until I read this book. I am excited and ready for this new change for the new year!
Hi Melissa, I have been vego since April and have been cutting out dairy slowly. I am having issues with cheese. Milk doesn't bother me because I like soy milk and unless I want everything shipped to me it is difficult to find vegan products where I live.
