Michelle- I don't know if you have done this but you an order big containers of the hemp from manitoba harvest direct. This has saved me $$$. Right now I am just about out of the PRO 70 and unfortunately they are out of it also. But thank goodness I have the seeds, which also work great in the shake (a little less protein).
I just tried vegan shakeology. I was hesitant about using meal replacers but the fact is that I am constantly on the run, and have trouble eating right all the time. I like shakeology because it is made from whole foods without the added vitamins. The protein blend is raw sprouted whole grain brown rice protein and sacha inchi. Hemp protein is not a good option for me as I get drug tested at work and we've been told that hemp products can result in a positive test.
Anyway, the vegan shakeology tastes great, although a little on the sweet side due to the addition of stevia. I probably will use this to replace one meal a day, at least during the week. I feel that it is a much healthier option than the vegetable lo mein I ended up eating last night!
About a year ago I was exposed to a great wholefood supplement Juice Plus. Juice Plus is 17 dehydrated friuts and veggies and grains in a capsules. Its a great way to get a a wide variety of all colors of fruits and veggies every day. Juice Plus also has shakes.
