The Physical Effects of Transitioning

Starting the new year I decided to become a flirt. Over the past two weeks, I have eliminated meat entirely, which was surprisingly easy :) , and reduced the amount of cheese I eat, cheese being the only dairy product I consume. I am happy to notice that I wake up each morning feeling less congested since reducing dairy. However, my body is extremely bloated, mostly in my abdomen. I am concerned that not consuming lean protein, like yogurt and turkey will negate my ability to create a lean silhouette. Is this a normal physical reaction?

Also, in addition to the bloating, my breathe has never smelled worse. I am certain that this is a side effect of my body detoxing from 21 years of consuming animal flesh, but I don't know if I can handle this much longer. I work with people on a regular basis and am extremely self conscious my "dragon breathe" will scare them off! How long can I anticipate this side effect to continue?
