I am looking to connect with people in the Chicago area, especially DuPage County region. I do travel into the city frequently so anyone in Chicago is welcome to contact me.
My goal is to find other people who are managing a Kind Life better than me (really I'm just getting started) and possibly I'm looking for a way to create a dinner night where maybe people get together once a month and cook dinner together based on Kind Life principles of healthy eating and living and to discuss ways to stay active, involved and participate in a Kinder Life for ourselves and those around us.
I am also getting married in the next 6 months (eek!) so any Kind Lifers out there with advise for a soon-to-be-married woman or couples who want to walk the Kind Life road together, please get in touch! Soon after the wedding, with in a year or two, we'll be looking to start a family and I want it to be a healthy and vital part of our balanced life for the new family too!
Beth, I'm in Oak Park and work in the city. I am just getting started too (January 1) and am especially struggling with eating out!
I'm in Arlington Heights and love the idea of a meal once a month. We could rotate homes..and maybe sometimes venture to somewhere in the city like Karyn's Cooked, Karyn's on Green, Chicago Diner...
I've been a Kind Lifer since November 09 and love more than anything cooking and baking vegan.

Kankakee county, here. I'm just starting out as a "flirt", myself.
Update 10/17/2011: I've been vegan since January and I LOVE it! Still in the Kankakee area if anyone wants to meet up or chat. =)

I'm from the Aurora area and am interested in starting the "Superhero" diet. I have been a vegetarian for 5 years now and picked up this book in hopes to finally complete my transition into veganism. Now I'm really interested in macrobiotic diets. Any advice?
Hello! I work in Hinsdale, but I live in Wicker Park, Chicago. I'd love to have some fellow Kind lifers to get together with! It'll only make things easier and more enjoyable for us all I can imagine. :) Any updates on dinner dates?
