JR- I have not been to Cafe Evolution. Sounds great though! Just looked it up. We have trouble trying anything different because we love P&E's so much! (we go to hadley for whole foods)

The restaurant in Worcester you are thinking of is probably Evo's. It is really good! We were there yesterday and didn't realize they were closed on Mondays. They have a little grocery store attached to it that has lots of vegan food to go that was yummy. They have the best chocolate cake with hazelnut frosting.

Hi everyone! I'm from Boston (Brighton to be specific) and I LOVE Boston Organics!! If you're having trouble finding vegan restaurants in the city, Allston is full of them; Grasshopper, Piece o Pie, you can even get bagels with vegan cream cheese at Bagel Rising. I'm a huge fan of My Thai as well!

Hey Mass. Kind Lifers! My name is Colleen and I live in Stoneham, north of Boston. I have been vegan since June 10th-ish of 2010 and have never looked back! However, I have never found a "vegan" restaurant that I've liked. I don't like vegan food that tries to be like non-vegan food (ex. pizza from Piece o Pie that has fake cheese), but instead regular food that happens to be vegan. Most of what I eat I cook myself. When I do go out to eat, I order a plate from a regular restaurant that happens to be vegan, or I will modify something to make it vegan. Is anyone else from the north shore??

Hey all, I'm in Framingham/Natick

Here we have PF Changs, Big Fresh, Fresh City, Legal Seafoods, Whole Foods that will do Vegan dishes. Nourish in Lexington is awesome, and you should visit Prana in Newton for VEGAN AND RAW dishes!

I love Grasshopper and Peace O Pie in Allston/Brighton, also Golden Temple in Brookline, The Other Side on Newbury Street by Hynes T Station and Haru in downtown Boston, Veggie Planet and Cambridge Commons in Cambridge.

Glad to see other Vege/Vegans in Massachusetts. I live in North Andover and have not found any places near me, however I work in Boston and think I should try out the ones people recommended above.

Hey Tom

Love your Vegan blog, keep up the great work. I know what you mean about weight, and I think I'm going to keep my vegan lifestyle but use some of Marilu Henner's combination techniques. The reason I say that, is that some years ago I followed her diet and the weight came off and my body looked awesome. I was never hungry either. The trick for me is milk products, once that is completely gone so was the baby fat.

Anyway, you have a great site and it's very inspiring.

Just wanted to add another great restaurant! This weekend my partner and I ate at Mt. Everest Kitchen in Allston on Brighton Ave. Nepalese food...it was great! They have a vegan section on their menu and the servers were extremely kind and helpful ensuring that everything was vegan. We tried a few different dishes, but the pumpkin was by far the best. Our server even mentioned that they were going to experiment with a vegan dessert to add to the menu in the next few weeks. It's worth checking out!
