Hi! Here are a few MUST visits for you- Horizon's restaurant in Philly (pricey,VERY RICH vegan foods, gourmet style), Su Tao cafe in Malvern (vegan buffet, INCREDIBLE!!! Lots of cold bar items and hot, mostly asian influence in nature and they branch out to lots of various kinds of food. ALWAYS fresh and ALWAYS amazing!!!! Best bang for the buck in Eastern PA where vegan food goes) I go to Su Tao at least 3 or 4 times a month and would eat there every meal for the rest of my life!

I am from Berks/Montgo. Co. area. I've been vegetarian for 14 years. I loved Alicia's book and feel like hers is the first account of explaning te rationale behind a kind diet that resonated with me at perfect spot- she did so in a kind way, not a condescending, judging or non-inclusive way which unfortunately is not always the case.

I am excited to try the olive restaurant! Thanks for mentioning it here:)

Hello friends, I'm wondering if any of you will be at the Forks over Knives premiere tomorrow night? If you are, I'd love to meet up with some Kind Lifers!

I wanna meet some of you! Wanna plan a trip to some delish vegan place soon? Like, a Sunday afternoon or something. Get to know some vegheads! I'm in Wyncote (in between Jenkintown and Glenside), but downtown would probably be the easiest place to convene. Lmk whatcha think!

Hi, I am Donna and I live in Quakertown. I am new to vegan as of this Monday! I read Alicia's book about 2 months ago and lasted only 2 weeks. Since then I have put on 15 unwanted pounds and right now I am going vegan for health reasons.

My hardest part so far is emotional eating. This morning I was happy and wanted to go get a mocha latte. But I stopped myself. Now I want a glass of wine. But I also want weight loss so I have to keep finding other ways to channel my emotions.

kikizee......

that sounds like a great idea! i also would love to meet some of you since i like putting faces to names. around here, there are no other vegans that i know....i have one vegetarian friend, the rest are omnis......so it would always be lovely to meet more. downtown is the easiest place with the most options.

Great, Jill! Now we just need to get everyone else in on it and decide where to go.

Hi Philly area folks. I am a Main Line area vegetarian (trying to go vegan). While I look forward to talking to you all in the future, the reason for my post today is a cat named Buddy. I volunteer for a cat rescue in the area where I met Buddy earlier this year. I thought he had found a home but I just recently found out he is still sitting in a cage. Since my family and I are already one animal over our apartment's limit (shh!), we cannot take him right now. If anyone out there is even remotely interested please check out the link below! He is soooo sweet. He loves to be picked up and even kisses your cheek! Thanks!
