Hello!!

Okay, St. Louisans - what do we want to discuss? I would love to know what kinds of things people are eating around here.

I just got a groupon to Local Harvest Cafe. I have shopped at the grocery store a lot, but never been to the cafe. I would also like to try Shan-gri-la.

Has anyone tried these?

Hi Niki,

Well, color me bummed! I saw that Groupon for Local Harvest Cafe and confused it for "Harvest" on Big Bend, which I know is not vegan friendly (last time I checked, they had foie gras on the menu - umm, no thanks!). I'm going to have to check out Local Harvest though. It looks like they've got some really great dinner options.

I've been to Shangri-La and it's pretty good. Good for a burger and fries kind of meal.

I've also had some luck at Terrene and, of course, Vegadeli - I cannot describe how excited I am that they're opening a location in the CWE. I fear for my bank account!

Hi, everyone. Local Harvest is very good and you can get vegan friendly grub. Shangri-La is also vegan friendly. Sweet Art is amazing. Try their 39th Street vegan "BLT" or their vegan burger, and grab a vegan hummingbird cupcake or brownie (if they aren't out) while you are at it. Yummy!! Happy healthy eating!!

I've never been to any of these places mentioned but they all sound awesome. I've been meaning to go to Shangri-La for ages. I've also wanted to go to Sweet Art but shouldn't be allowed to set foot anywhere near delicious baked goods. Cupcakes are my weakness.

I've eaten at The Vine, off Grand, a handful of times and really enjoyed everything I've tried... very vegan friendly!

I just moved to St. Louis a few months ago so this is SO HELPFUL!! I can't wait to try some of these places.
