Anyone more along the lines of Raw Vegan in this area (I'm in Fullerton, all the good Vegan/Veg restaurants seem to be in LA or south Orange County)? Would love to start a meetup group - maybe a bi-monthly potluck? (Vegan is good, too)! :)

Nancy - if you are looking for raw, there is a raw restaurant in Costa Mesa called 118 Degrees. It is in the same shopping center as Native Foods (vegan). There is also a great new vegan restaurant in Tustin.

Hi All! Thank you for the comments!

I've been eating (and taking classes) at 118degrees in Costa Mesa - and it's AMAZING! I'm actually doing their 7 day detox program this week, as well as signed up for a class on dehydrating.... "but" this is 35-40 minutes away from where I live without traffic (today, after picking up my meals for 2 days it took an hour to get home)...

Jenny Ross and www.118degrees.com are amazing - I'm just looking for something a little closer to home, and would love to make some friends who don't want to go to out to Red Lobster or Outback! ;)

Keep the comments comments coming - this is REALLY GREAT information!!

Costa Mesa is a bit of a drive for me also - I am in the Villa Park area. The vegan restaurant in Tustin is on Main Street so it is closer, but like I said, it is vegan, not raw. They have amazing bakery items also!

Hi! My name is Keri Anne and I am a brand new Vegan living in Anaheim and working at Disneyland... I am so excited to try some of the restaurants/stores you guys are talking about!!! My favorite place right now is "Tranquil Tea Lounge" in Fullerton. When I was only a vegetarian they suited my needs very well... and I had my 1st vegan dinner there last night... they were very accommodating and it was delicious!
