I'm in Frederick too! Where do you guys eat out? I have been going to Hunan Gourmet. They have a vegetarian menu. I've tried crispy eggplant and Gen Tso's shrimp and scallop (veg!) I'm pretty busy but maybe we could all meet for tea sometime downtown. I don't have many friends in Frederick and would love to meet other Kind lifers! Just got the book for Christmas and have been Vegan for 3 mos following suggestiond from The Beauty Detox Solution.
hey I'm new to the Taneytown area which isn't too far from Frederick! surprisingly there are no actual book stores out here so i checked out my copy from a library and have been taking notes. I've been going back and forth from wanting to be a vegetarian and actually flirting or doing a week here and week there of no meat but after reading this book I am more grossed out then before about meat and where it comes from. unfortunately I am alone in my journey to switching over and my husband wants to continue eating meat though if I'm making dinner and keep it out he doesn't complain (and I've been doing that a lot) i want to find a good restaurant that can appeal to us both and even a vegan place for my birthday in October. I have a feeling we may be going to DC for some good food
I'm from Hagerstown & see this post is relatively old but am going to check out the suggestions because Htown has absolutely nothing that I know of.
