I'm not in Charleston, Conway to be exact but I got so excited when I saw people so close! South Carolina is such a dead zone for people with beliefs like the ones promoted by The Kind Life.

I'm not vegan or fully vegetarian actually, but other than seafood I haven't had eaten any meat in about a year and a half. I also avoid dairy as much as I possibly can. I'm sure I would be more strict with my diet if vegan/vegetarian food wasn't so hard to come by in the area.

Wow! Thats so cool there are several kindlifers in SC. I am on the coast of NC...not too far away, but haven't met anyone in my area. Sounds like Charleston has more options than I do here (Wilmington.) CB I am in the same boat, I am not 100% vegan, but I do my best. It is kind of hard when you dont have any veg friends/ family and the area you live in is not very veg friendly!! Anyway...glad to see it is spreading in the South!!! Yay!

Hey there! Vegan out here on Folly Beach :-) Great to see some other folks on here from the area. I'm always looking for new recommendations on places in the area offering veggie/vegan options. Just went vegan a week ago after being vegetarian almost 4 years. Visited the Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary last week, and that was all it took for me to finally make the decision. I have tried Black Bean Co, and definitely recommend the vegan breakfast wrap- it's delicious! Has anyone found a good Italian place with vegan options??

My boyfriend is a meat eater but is not against trying what i cook. Any updates on good places to eat?

Hi everyone! I am traveling to Charleston for a weekend and would love some recommendations for vegan eateries! I am 29 and have been vegan for 4 years now. Looking for some good breakfast spots, if any. Thanks!

Hello All! I am a vegan in Goose Creek- Just had to move back home with family after living in West Ashley and downtown all through college. Not many vegan options out here in the creek! I've been a vegetarian for 10 years and have been transitioning to vegan for the last 6 months- fully vegan for 6 weeks now.

Anyways, money is tight right now but I would love to meet vegan friends, It would help to have a support group.
I'm definitely going to check out the facebook page Ricky posted on this feed.

Much love.
