hello from beautiful british columbia! are there any other kind lifers in the Okanagan area? i don`t have any vegan friends, and would love to meet some people to do lunch or potlucks with!!

Hi Kristine! My best friend and I (who is also a vegan here in Kelowna) have been talking about getting a group together here for quite some time! Would be nice to connect! :)

I would love to connect! i dont imagine this is the kind of site where creepers roam, but just to be on the safe side, tell me a bit about yourself, what do you do here in Kelowna? how old are you..you know,,all the basics :) you can private message me if you want.

Hey ladies.. I'm in Kelowna too! I've met 2 vegan friends here and we were talking about doing a pot luck sometime. I'd love to get to know you both!

Hi Ashlee! Kristine and I have connected as well as my best friend ... it would be fun to get the 6 of us together! Also, there is already a potluck group here in Kelowna that meets every once in a while ... haven't been yet but sounds like fun! :)

Hello, I just posted this in the other Kelowna forum, but didn't want anyone to miss out.

Okanagan Vegetarian Table meets periodically in Kelowna for vegan potlucks! The next one is on March 10, 2012 at the EECO Centre - 2363A Springfield Road. You can find more info about it here: www.okanaganvegetarian.com

Also, Okanagan Health Forum is hosting a vegan evening with food samples, the movie Forks Over Knives, followed by an expert discussion panel, and vegan door prizes for only $5. Two event dates are scheduled: Thursday, March 1st in Penticton at the Shatford Centre & Sunday, March 4th in Lake Country at the Creekside Theatre. Doors open at 5:30pm, movie starts at 6:30pm.
