hey Jamie!! so cool! I wasn't sure if there would be anyone in Springfield who follows this site. Thats so exciting! I'm sort of midtown. Sunshine and Kansas Expressway. Do you have any favorite restaurants in the area?

Oh! I didn't expect to see any other folks from around here! I'm kind of in the downtown area, around St. Louis and National. smiley-smile.gif On restaurants, if you haven't tried it yet, I would recommend Wayo Sushi Bar on Glenstone. They have some great veggie sushis and this rice-filled marinated tofu pocket thing that is fantastic!! Also, Grad School on N Jefferson has some veg-friendly dishes and is really good, too!

Hi! I'm actually new to the whole veggie thing, but I've found that Bambu on Battlefield has some really tasty options. Also, the Grotto on Battlefield and Kimbrough has a wonderful black bean burger (that you can get with sweet potato fries) and a vegan pizza that I'm looking foward to trying out.

:), I Live in Mo. (unfortunatly, sorry, but need to be honest), I am in Ozark.. not far at all from Springfield... if you want info on eating out, grocery stores, health food stores, etc, let me know:)
