staten island, new york =)

I have like 2 vegetarian/vegan people i can relate to here on staten island. it seems like NO ONE gets it or understands what being a veg is all about. PLEASE! reach out to this fellow staten islander. i work in manhatten as well. =) sometimes i just wanna chat about vegan/veg stuff. smiley-kiss.gif

I live in LIC, but am originally from Annadale and work in NYC. I know how difficult it can be to be veggie/ vegan there with all the delicious Italian food! I still struggle with not having much food commonalities with my friends/ family/ bf. I would def be up for moral support/ chatting:)

oh i live close to annadale! and actually my bf and I might look in LIC for an apartment soon ... well i would love to chat sometime =)

I am from Annadale also! I don't know as many vegetarian/vegans from Staten Island but I do think traveling to the city I've met a LOT more friends with this lifestyle. I had been vegetarian until very recently after I read TheKindDiet and now I've gotten many of my family and friends interested in their eating habits as well. And slowly but surely I know my boyfriend has been a lot more aware of what he eats, what's in it and where it comes from! Hopefully we all progress!(:
