I have to add one more- PM, it is located in the Belmont area right by the school. They are open really late and their menu specifies vegan, vegetarian and gluten free. Plus the servers are so friendly and helpful they will modify most anything for you. I would describe them as asian inspired. They also have a great sushi menu and their signature dish is vegetarian and is made with daikon. It is awesome.
Thanks Virginia!! Hello Amy and everyone else. I am a newbie myself. Virginia that list is pretty awesome. I am gonna have to look up all these places. I have been to the mellow mushroom and gotta say the megga veggie pizza was awesome. I never ever eat cold pizza but it was so delicious even cold. I can tell you that Razz in Smyrna has a veggie burger that is to die for. I haven't really found any other places yet found mellow mushroom by doing a vegetarian search and found out about the veggie burger at Razz b/c we went there for lunch and just spotted it on the menu. It was so good! Oh and the Mellow Mushroom also has wonderful hummus! will keep an eye for any other info on here sad that you are going to Memphis but hope you can find some wonderful places there and by all means share them as well. Just went to The Wild Cow for the first time (bought a t-shirt that is very flattering...I recommend them). Even took meat-eating hubby and he was happily full when we left. Cute little place, and I think they've added more parking behind the building rather than it being all on the street. It'll be a go-back-for-more place!
