I've found a couple good vegan-friendly restaurants in my area, but if there's more of you out there from my hood let me know! Any help in eating out around here would be much appreciated. I know about Pneumatic Diner, it's my fave. But it would be fun to be able to change it up!

My name is Connie and I live in gardnerville about 50 mils from you.. The only other places I know that ar good to ear are Sprouts in South Lake Tahoe..And Joannes cafe in carson...We dont have alot of choices around here.. but I love Indian or thia.

Take I-80 [towards Tahoe] to HWY 20, in about an hour and a half (depending on how heavy your foot is) you'll arrive in my hometown of Nevada City, Ca. It's very small, so don't blink. There you will find many, many lovely vegan/veggie and raw restaurants such as New Moon Cafe, Sopa Thai, The Fix (all raw menu), South Pine Cafe (you must eat breakfast there... no really, the Pesto Rice Boat is incrEDIBLE), Summertime Bakery...

But I would highly suggest taking a day or weekend Foodie Trip to Nevada City. They have excelent food and probably 80% of it is locally sourced.

Hello i am just getting back on track it is so hard in this city. I feel like it is a meat loving town. Well i am veg now and it is so much better than ever. :)
