Looking to connect and share with other flirts, vegans, and superhero's in the Dallas area. I'm still flirting with being vegan and have been vegetarian for 7 months. It seems like there are places here in Dallas, but I'm still at a bit of a loss. Who's got suggestions?

We have tons of places to eat in the Dallas area! Here's a list for quick viewing :)

Veggie Garden - Richardson

Suma's - Richardson

Cafe Elite - Plano

New Start Veggie Garden - Koreatown, Dallas

Bliss Raw Cafe - Dallas

The V-Spot - Dallas (not open yet, but coming soon I heard)

And these are just the vegan restaurants. There are a few more that are just vegetarian.

Wow! I've never heard of half these places! I live close to downtown, so have eaten at Spiral Diner several times. I really like it, but it's not necessarily good for you. I also like Kalachandji's. I'm going to add these to my yelp list immediately.

Yeah! Dallas Kind Lifers! I definately think we should have a get together. I am a flirt. I have read The Kind Life and love it. I am mostly vegetarian but I have yet to eliminate dairy though I am trying different products. I have hypothroidism which means I need to avoid soy so that makes things a little tricky. I would love to connect with you all. I am sure we all have work, school, families, lives, etc. but connecting to new people to would be great. Dolores, you are definately onto something I have been hoping for for awhile now. I have weekends that are flexible. How bout the rest of you?

Have any of you tried Spiral Diner and Bakery in Dallas? I tried it this weekend and its completely vegan and delicious. I even convinced my sister and her husband to go and they are not vegan and enjoyed it as well.

I edited my posted list of restaurants because we visited The Veggie Pot in plano and found out that they closed! Such a bummer. And, I forgot to put a couple more that I just remembered...

The Buddhist Progress Society (a buddhist temple in Richardson that has a buffet every day except for Saturdays). It's really cheap and good, but not much for atmosphere. The food is mostly Chinese/asian.

Kalachandji's - A Krishna temple in Dallas that does a buffet at lunch and dinner. This place is just vegetarian, but they have plenty of vegan options and label everything that has dairy in it so there is no guessing. And as a religion they don't eat eggs so you don't have to worry about those either. Food is mostly indian with some american.

Oh yeah and I just remembered that The Green Spot has some good vegan options, even vegan soft serve!! It's a gas station with a little natural grocery store and cafe and it's off of Buckner in east dallas. Highly recommend!

Hi everyone! You should try Cosmic Cafe. It's delicious and has an awesome yoga class about four times a week.
