Z Pizza in Flower Mound offers Daiya cheese and vegan meat substitutes! Great for vegans and omni's alike since they can get the "real" stuff while you eat cruelty-free! They also deliver! Very tasty!
Also, don't forget about the "cafes" in the Whole Foods stores - lots of vegan/vegetarian options there.
There is also a Spiral Diner in Ft Worth. I love them both! Cosmic Cafe was pretty tasty, too.
Also, there is a place called Loving Hut in Arlington. I cannot testify on how good the food is - I haven't been there myself. Just heard about it from my bro-in-law.
I would also be interested in a big vegan meet-up! Would be fun to meet some new people with similar ideals.
Hello lovely Dallas Kind Lifers!! There is a HUGE vegetarian/vegan community in Dallas/Ft. Worth. There are many organizations and meetups happening every week. Be sure to visit these websites and get on their email lists. And join the Meetup.com groups. This is the best way to connect with other vegheads. We have events every single week!
