I always have supper, even though I might push it back a bit or have smaller amounts than normal. You don't want your body to think that you are in starvation mode and start storing fat as protection. I would always eat something, even something little.
Hi Lynn! If I have a big lunch I sometimes feel too full for supper as well. I might just have something lighter like some fruit. I agree with catconsrv it is better to have just a little something so that your body doesn't go into starvation mode.
I heard once that you want to think of your body as a burning fire and by adding small amounts of wood to it every couple hours (eating small meals throughout the day) you are keeping that fire going (or your metoblism up). But if you just throw one huge log on the fire (eating one huge meal) the fire will eventually die out (your metablism can slow down). I hope this makes sense :)
Dani - My understanding is that supper and dinner are the same thing.
