Hello! I know that I have spoken with a few of you before and let you know that I will be coming to your beautiful country in October for 2 months. A quick question because I have been having horrible luck finding this out. I was trying to look into renting a wireless modem for my laptop so that I will have access to the internet on my trip and be able to keep in touch with the family (skype, email, etc.). I have had no luck! I will primarily be just outside of Durban (7weeks). Do you guys know info that could help me or any companies that do this? Just wondering! Thanks for your help!

Hello!

I believe what you are looking for is a 3G data card (dongle). MTN and Vodacom are the two main providers in SA so they will have information on their websites. You will probably have to get a pay as you go card. I am not sure of the specifics, but that is what you are after. Good luck!
