Did anyone make alicia's cookies? I made them and was disappointed in the results - they were flat and very oily. Did anyone have better results? I need to find out what I did wrong.
I've made Alicia's cookies so many times and they are my favorite. Give them another try. I do use an extra 1/4 cup of flour. I've also used different kinds of flours wheat pastry, spelt, white and soy and they have all worked very well for me. Mind always come out very crispy. Everyone that has had them loves them!
I thought they were super yummy. I substituted the walnuts with chocolate chips though!
Thanks Delores - I did not use the maple sugar - I think I used brown sugar. Could that be the problem? I will purchase the maple sugar. My powders are fresh. My first batch were just flat and oily.
