I didn´t have breakfast for a long time, too, mainly to cut down on calories. once I started working, though, it felt like to be the "sensible" thing to have something to eat just to be sure I had done everything I could to keep up energy levels in my stressful teaching job;-) now I´m used to it I do feel better and although I experience the strange phenomenon that I´m hungry earlier in the day when I HAD breakfast I think that´s my body telling me what a lot of nutritionists say, too: your body needs a breakfast to kick start it´s metabolism in the morning.. try it, I hope it will work for you!
now my question: I had whole grain porridge for over half a year (barley mostly, sometimes mixed with brown rice). the problem is - I just don´t feel as satisfied as by a bowl of oatmeal porridge!:-/ it´s basically the same thing, I add dried apricots and pumpkin seeds, just the base is different. any superhero ideas what to do?
