I feel run down alot and decided to try and lighten up. Is going just meatless ok? Do I need to take it even farther to get benefits? I have been on some medication for a bit and really want to stop taking it.I figure there's got to be a better way then to medicate for mild depression. Any advice would be great.

Dairy has some very negative health aspects. Try reading The China Study for more information. From a health perspective, giving up dairy may have more of an impact than meat, but you could try giving up meat for a month and see how you feel. It may be beneficial for you, you never know until you try it.

And know that if you make a big change in your diet, you will experience detox symptoms that may may you feel worse before you get better. For myself, I found that a slow transistion to a healthier, veg diet was more sustainable in the long run, and I didn't experience as many detox symptoms. It's true, health-wise, that dairy could be even worse than meat, you amy want to consider cutting that out first. Or maybe start by eating vegan a few days a week, and gradually expanding it to everyday. Our bodies are all different. It's up to you to experiment and find out what works best for yours.

I suggest jumping right into something like the superhero plan. You will feel so much better so quickly it will have been worth the effort.

Use caution when adjusting medications.
