Anyone else taking this AMAZING cruise Feb. 27-March 6th??

My BFF and I are counting down the days until we spend an entire week at sea, in the Caribbean, and listening to celeb speakers such as Dr. T. Collin Campbell, NBA star John Salley, TV/Broadway actress Marilu Henner, and chef/author Isa Chandra Moskowitz! That's just to name a few...

We are in our 30's and hope there are others our age on this cruise. No matter, we KNOW we're going to have a flippin' blast, and leave more motivated to pursue a vegan, compassionate lifestyle!

Hi Tracy,

I am also booked. I went last year and was hooked. I got hypnotized by Jessica Porto and asked a couple of really good questions at the lectures. I saw the Caribbean and ate delicious food. I hope to see you there!

Justin, that's awesome!! I'm so happy to hear you have already experienced it. Were you one of the youngest people on this cruise?! I'm curious how many 30-some's will be attending. Either way, we are still super excited. Let's make sure to meet up!! Hmm, we'll have to figure out how. Karen and I are flying into FLL on the 25th. It'll be great to meet ya!

Cheers :)

I am hoping they have another one next year, because I already started saving my pennies for it! I can't afford it this year, but my hubby and I will definitely go next year if they have one. *crossing fingers* It sounds so amazing, and I would love the chance to see T.Colin Campbell speak in person and to thank Isa for all her amazing recipes. :)

Have fun and let us know how it goes!

Hi Tracy,

sorry to have to say,

I am old, as were many on last years cruise.

We're a bit old but we party like we're really really old. They switched cruise lines after last year and I heard a rumor it was because cruise ships loose money on passengers that don't do a lot of gambling, drinking, or buying of cigarettes and diamond jewelry.

We tend to party without those things, which I find much more fun. I am not saying there were no hijinks or late night craziness on the dance floor, we were just not nearly as lucrative as the other guests as far as the cruise line could determine.

As far as the age of guests, I would say that it would be hard for me to guess. These are the beautiful people. You can't tell their age, especially from the back. I saw many young people with early birth-dates who know how to have fun without harming their health.

Think Marilou Henner, she has a relatively early birth-date but I would not call her old. She knows how to party and have fun that's for sure.

Hee hee! Cute response, Justin. I wouldn't put you in the "old" category either! Karen and I are excited, no matter what the ages are. We know it is going to be a bunch of lovely, like-minded people.

Unfortunately, I will be a non-lucrative passenger as well! No gambling, cigarettes, or diamonds for this gal. They may make some extra cash off of me in the "glass of wine here and there" department ;) I DO hope to dance it up a couple of evenings! I'll be the tall, outspoken, and super social blonde. Be sure to say hello and I'll keep my eye out for ya! Is your whole family going?

Kiera, I would hope this cruise will take place for years to come! It's such a good idea, and I believe four to five hundred people are booked for it. At least, I think that's what one of the ladies told me! I am SUPER excited to hear and meet T. Collin too! What an amazing man, eh? Just finishing his book and I have underlined/highlighted it like crazy. Such fascinating AND scary information. Crazy the general public doesn't know all of this, right?

Great food, I met and asked a very good question of Dr. Campbell author of "The China Study". Marilu Henner had to cancel and Drs Barnard and Fuhrman weren't there this year.

The parties were fun, they have what they call a survivors panel of people who turned around their health through nutrition, courses on diet, yoga, arervedic, veganism and meditation abound and its all on a cruise ship sailing the Caribbean sea, what could be better?

(only one way I can think of)

They had Alicia's book for sale in the library and many people I'd spoken to are aware of it. I am sure she would fill the stadium if she decided to come and present her ideas, that would make it even better.

Next years lineup includes Dr. Esselstyn.

Sounds great, Justin! What question did you ask Dr. Campbell??

Hey Justin! Did we completely miss one another on the cruise?! I kept looking for your "name tag". Sorry we didn't get to meet face-to-face. I'm also with Kiera, wanting to know what you asked Dr. Campbell? I love that man.

Kiera, I cannot say enough good things about this cruise :) My bff and I had such a good time, we signed up for next year! And guess who's going to be there as a VIP? Dr. Campbell, Dr. Esselstyn Jr., , AND Dr. Barnard!! Talk about heavy hitters, eh?! There were just SO many classes and not enough time, but I loved every one I attended. One of the best experiences was getting to spend the whole week with those who presented. You could get to know them, ask ?s, and see just how cool they really are.

The food was awesome, and we felt great! Gotta love being at sea level too, which is easier on the system. I've never slept so little but had so much fun and energy! We did exercises and meditation in the mornings, and danced until the late night hours. Made TONS of great friends; we are all keeping in touch on FB and are already excited for next year. Hung out all week with Robert Cheeke, vegan bodybuilder and super cool guy. Made friends with John Salley, BB rock star and uber tall, funny guy. I almost liked being on the ship all day, sailing, versus having to get off at port and return late afternoon - we had THAT much fun! However, the destinations were gorgeous. I loved Jamaica and Cozumel! Next year, E. Caribbean - whoo hoo!

What kind of a return cruiser would I be if I weren't recruiting Team Traci?! There's a group of us determined to spread the word to 20 and 30 somethings about this wonderful experience, and bring 'em with us next year! Yes, we had a BLAST with everyone, no matter what the age difference was. You get a bunch of like-minded, compassionate folks together, and you're definitely going to have a good time. I simply want to bring in, educate, and "vacation it up" with people my age. The more we learn, the better chance we have of spreading this word of health, right??

Folks should sign up early to get the best $$ saving deals, stash cash away each month for nearly a year, and come cruise time, you're a "no stress" vacationer!

Check it out on Facebook - Holistic Holiday at Sea IX - Vegan Cruise.

Funny thing, the profile picture is of me and Robert Cheeke dancin' it up on the floor!
