Hi,

I was very worked up about this last night...but I have been told today that they have all been adopted. I really don't know if that is true or not, but that is what I have been told. So hopefully everything has turned out okay. I just can't believe that this man's son would do this. Anyway, I am happy that so many people posted it on this website. This is really a wonderful community.

I read that too. Something about the Gentle Barn? I'm pretty sure there are a lot of good hearted people out there who wouldn't let this happen. I'm glad I'm not the only one who posted.

I have no idea how far they these people are willing to travel, but I live in NC and have volunteered for this np. organization always looking for donated horses. The horses are used to provide therapeutic riding for special needs people.

Here is the link to get in touch with them:

Maybe you can google and find another local non profit like this one to take the horses. There has to be something like this close by! Good luck!
