Hey there! I'm in Halifax. I find a lot of great stuff at the major stores, but the asian markets in town are a good resource too. Planet Organic is good but often pricey.

thanks for the info. i love planet organic. and the seaport market. also i just found out that planet organic sells daiya cheese!!! im super pumped about that. a vendor at the sea port market by the water front makes amazing vegan foods. nama snacks. i suggest you try them even if you are not vegan. because they are just that good.

Thanks for the info, my uncle lives in Halifax. Me, however live in Amherst a small town that makes it difficult to buy products. Sackville NB has a great little whole food shop and a couple shops are in Moncton which is only 40mins. away. Atlantic Superstore has pretty much everything that I need though.

Superstore has Daiya as well! As well as Earth Balance, Tofurkey, meat substitutes etc...really impressed with their organic/natural section =)

Hey nice to connect with some East coasters! Slowly making the transition to becoming vegan. I'm in Newfoundland at the moment, hoping to connect with people here. Is this the best forum to connect with people in Canada?

I don't know about the best to connect with people in Canada, but certainly the best for educational purposes. I do know that there is a lot of people on this forum that is from Canada though and helpful when it comes to suggestions.

Congrats on the BIG election!
