Hello everyone! I've been reading your posts this week. I can't believe I still have not read the book yet! It's been a time factor for me. I think I will start it today. However, I jumped ahead a little bit and tried the green juice. Juiced four times this week. I love the way it makes me feel. I want to start the cleanse. Just need to commit to it! Natural Health magazine's current issue features an article on Kris Carr as well. I did read the one in VegNews. Both are very good. Gotta get reading!
@ cheryl koots, I'm going to start tomorrow! I got the book today and am really excited! I'm a little worried about not having a juicer or vitamix, but I will just do my best I guess. I may ask for a juicer for my bday, but the vitamix is just too much. I'm hoping that if I do the juicing in a blender and either strain it in a fine sieve, or even cheesecloth I may reap some benefits. Has anyone tried anything like that? Other than that I think the alcohol and coffee will be tough, but I'm having my last glass, or two, or wine tonight and did indulge in a starbucks today so hopefully that will hold me! Good luck. Okay everyone out there. Day 1 is already rough! I'm not in a good mood and everything I've consummed today has been bleh... I don't have a juicer, but did the super green guru smoothie. I gagged even though I drank it all. I don't think I can do that again. I had a shot of wheatgrass and carrot juice earlier at whole foods. Juice was good, I've been burping nastly wheatgrass all day and won't do that again. I'm about to make a cup of coffee just to get through the evening with my 3 kids and not bite their heads off. I'm sadly looking forward to my dinner of tofu and cabbage. I love veggies, honestly, but this is not appealing at all right now. Does it get better? And why do I really need to give up just one coffee a day with a little coconut creamer???
