Support & Ideas for a poor Kansas Citian?

Hey everyone! This is Liz, here. I've followed this site for a while and have read Alicia's book cover to cover probably a million times. I think it's practically turned into a bible for me. :-P


Due to previous health issues and a basic desire to live better I've turned more vegan than a flirt, but am currently looking more and more into the macrobiotic side of life. Is there any hope for a poor college graduate living in a hopelessly beef-based midwestern city? If there are any Kansas Citians in here please let me know!

I live in Lawrence, KS! In town, most places have a vegan option, and I have generally found most grocery stores will order products if they don't carry them. We should chat! Regardless, good luck!
