Hello everyone,

About 5 years ago i was "forced" to become vegan due to a progressing allergic reaction to all animal protein. At the time i was about 200 lbs and only 5ft (EEK) Since my change in lifestyle I plateaued to a solid 128. :D Last year i started gaining some weight back and figured it was my body finally adjusting to my plant-based diet and i've always had a manly appetite-haha-... A co-worker gave me the kind diet book and read it like it was my bible. I still look through it everyday. 5months ago I decided to become the best superhero i could be to get the last 15lbs off and to feel overall healthier. It was like magic. However, I had NO idea how difficult it'd be in the winter. Living in Worcester, MA we dont have farmers markets year round... the produce is rarely organic and not a whole lot can be grown in this climate (it was -18 two weeks ago) Are there any massachusetts superheroes that could give a sister some advice? im feeling super week, i've gained about 7lbs since december and my skin isn't doing so hot either... :/
