New and nervous

Kelly , good for you and yes yes yes i can believe your little student saw a difference so quickly . Its like an inner light is beginning to shine out from you . Its amazing how meat/dairy dim our beauty and glow . I thinks its wise to keep your veganism quiet for now . My dad gave up smoking and never told anyone , its kind of easier without others watching you and giving thier 5 cents all the time. And if you like You Yube there is lots of info about the evils of dairy on teh human body. There is so much missinformation in the media about needing dairy for strong bones . Dairy actually depletes calcium in bones and taking calcium supplements just calcifies the arteries . Leafy greens are the best and most well absorbed form of calcium for the human body.




And Vicky i have to say you are a Star and Inspiriation to me . I lost 1o lbs in the last year , but i am vegan not superhero . I want to get my diet even cleaner though so i am going to try to ditch the processed stuff and reign in my sweet tooth .

You guys are all amazing and I so appreciate the support! I am really going to need it. My commitment feels so strong for so many reasons. Some days I remember my choice for my heath and other days I remember my choice for animals and our world. With the info I have now and especially after reading The Kind Life, I could never go back to eating the way I used to. I am so shocked to find out this information on dairy. My dad has worked for a milk company for years and years and so there is no way I could make him see the choice not to consume dairy. I just feel good knowing that I am taking care of me and knowing that my choices will help my husband and my children. Thank you!!! xoxoxo
