Get your hormonee levels checked out. I worked so hard in the gym and I eat super healthy, but didn't have any results for over 3 years. I finally went to the doctor and realized I had a sluggish thyroid. Its so important and worth while to check into!

I'm an expert on weight loss, I've tried everything. I have an average metabolism (actually a bit slower than average) and lose 10-20 lbs every year after xmas break. Do these things, and in one month if you haven't lose weight, see a doctor (maybe a naturopath) or be honest with yourself because if it isn't a problem with how your system metabolizes food than its something you're doing that is keeping you at this weight. It could be drinking a latte everyday with tons of sugar or not exercising enough.

If you don't exercise, do strength training, yoga and start jogging (it doesn't need to be fast or long, just start with 10 min)
Eat less rice, thats very fattening and constipating
Eat less fruit and more vegetables
Drink more water, tea, no fruit juice, soda, sweets or junk food.

If you cut down your portions or at least measure them so that they're a healthy amount of calories that will work too, but its a shit load of obsessive work. I'd just recommend hitting the gym. (Always stretch before and after)

I've been reading " the get healthy go vegan cookbook" by Dr. NEIL BARNARD in the book he says that to loose weight you just have to follow two guidelines
1 steer clear of any animal products, this means eating plenty of fruit vevtables and legumes.
2 aviod added oil, so saute in vegie broth for example.
I'm going to give it a try, I've been vegan mostly with very little dairy but I've been enjoying too many desserts with white flour and sugar, and have gained 10lbs :(
