Yesterday I finished reading the book "The Kind Diet". Now I am going to try the flirting diet (Chapter 7). I know it won't be easy since I love eating yogurt and cheese, but I'm willing to try this diet because I want to change my health and eating habits.
Congrats! I suggest doing diet changes in baby steps. Many books like The Kind Life (Veganism, Skinny Bitch, etc.) have grocery shopping lists with great vegan suggestions. Also you can find alot of information on the net. Go to your food stores.....Whole Foods is a good one to start at.....and just look around. Give yourself time to read labels, ask questions and get acquanted with all the food available to you. About yogurt and cheese.....please don't think you will find an exact vegan copy of cow milk yogurt and cheese, you won't. But you will find yogurt and cheese that have the same consistancy, melt the same, work just the same in recipes and are delicious. I really like the Daiya cheeses. I have not missed cow milk yogurt or cheese one bit. I have found sooooo many other delicious new foods to enjoy! So go explore and have fun! And if you like to cook, there are hundreds of fantastic vegan cookbooks too!
