Hi Cool!!

I am a novice endurance runner. I have ran one Marathon, I prefer to run alone to gather my thoughts. I do intend to do more Marathons, the training gave me focus and a goal. My favorite running is trail running. Good ol' PB and J has never failed me!!

How about you?

Hi! I'm a runner, but only for the health benefits. I've never run a marathon or anything like that, but I do trail run and regular pavement running 5x/week. I love how it makes me feel afterwards. Plus, I do my best thinking while I'm running! smiley-wink.gif

Like Diane I run for the health benefits. I used to run 5x a week as well about 5 miles at a time, but now I am doing P90X too so I only run about 3x a week. I also agree that I love the after run endorphin rush!

Hello! I'm also an avid runner! I am currently training for my second half marathon... and loving it :) Have you ever tried Chia Seeds? I cannot even begin to tell you how much they energize my body. I usually have them with my breakfast. They can be added to smoothies or sprinkled on top of toast with peanut butter! Here's a link to learn more:

I tend to use running as an addition to my routine as i get alot of cardiovascular fitness through boxing/martial arts.

But ill either go for a long run a few times a week(great for stress in my opinion and giving you a little time to think) or some sprints now and again. Hill sprints on occasion also and various HIIT.

I'm currently training for my first marathon on 5/1. I love to run alone, with no music. I have three children and running is a time for me to clear my head. Before my runs, I usually eat PB on wheat with banana slices and ground flax seeds. Sometimes I'll have a Cliff Bar if I'm not in the mood for another PB on toast. I'm definitely going to check out chia seeds. I *just* received Born to Run in the mail this past week. I can't wait to read it!
