Sensitive tootsies!

Hi folks,

I am really hoping you can help me out. Many of my old shoes since I transitioned to a kind lifestyle are wearing out, and I need to buy new ones!

My problem? I have VERY sensitive feet - like tissue paper. They blister very easily (in the wrong shoes within about 15 minutes) and I once got a terrible infection and had to go to the hospital from wearing the wrong shoes! I have never been able to buy man-made shoes from places like "Payless" for example - I always had to make sure it was leather.

But now I don't want leather. Are there specific vegan materials that are best for sensitive feet? Anyone else have these problems???

Have you ever tried simple shoes? They make vegan friendly shoes out of hemp and organic cotton, so they breathe (unlike pleather). I recommend ordering their shoes from Zappos, because they have free shipping on returns if you don't like the shoe or buy the wrong size. Not all Simple Shoes are vegan though, so read the description or double check the vegan line at http://www.simpleshoes.com/

Thanks Smurfy - I will check out Simple shoes. Organic hemp and cotton sound much better.

Anything for dressier shoes? I am thinking specifically of shoes for my upcpoming wedding!
