Could anyone please type the smoothie recipe in the Kind Diet book? I am out of town and my boyfriend's sister wants the recipe. I can't explain how HAPPY I am that this midwestern meat and potatoes eating family who gave me all kinds of crap for going vegan are starting to show genuine interest in this way of life :)
I see a recipe for Fruit Smoothis a la Alicia - You need
1/2 C almond or other nut milk; 1/2 C soy or rice milk; 3/4 banana, (pref. frozen); 1 C frozen strawberries; 2 drops stevia or 1 tsp. maple syrup; 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (optional); 1 whole cinnamon stick (optional) Combine all in blender and whiz until smooth. Hope this helps.
