I just opened a package of Nasoya tofu on Tuesday. I drained it out completely Wednesday and was about to eat it today (Thursday) when I noticed that the package says you are supposed to keep it in water and change the container. I just did that now but is it too late? It doesn't smell or anything but I am a first time tofu buyer and don't know if it's still safe to eat...
Its totally fine..I make "egg" salad with tofu sometimes and after its all made it will stay in the fridge up to 5 days so it will definetly be ok after only a day or two.
