My question would be why does it matter - it's terrible for your health and the environment. I don't know if there are animal ingredients in cigarettes, but they are certainly tested on animals. So all around, there is no good reason to smoke.

Smoking is tough because it is an addiction, so people really want to rationalize ways to make it okay. But just remember that this new lifestyle doesn't just mean kind to animals, mother earth and others-- but it also means being kind to yourself. So try cutting the strings to the addiction of smoking and feel the health and kindness embrace your body! Good Luck!

They are very known for testing on animals, but I don't know if there are any animal products in an actual cigarette...it's actually a good question regardless of whether you choose to smoke or not...now I'm gonna do some research to see the actual ingredients cuz I'm curious now!

Just did some research and only one brand is vegan and doesn't test on animals: American Spirit Naturals? Hmmm...never heard of them..

American Spirit is based in New Mexico (if it's the same company you found). Loads of people smoke them.

But Im really trying and i was hoping there would be animal products in them so I would be FORCED to quit. The only time I quit was when i found out i was pregnant. I quit immediatley. Seems like its so hard this time, ud think being Vegan would make me want to quit right this second.

What I meant to say is that a lot of people here smoke them (N.M.). I don't know if they're all that widespread. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people have never heard of them. I just see them all the time, especially with a lot of younger 'hip' people or whatever.
