Dinner party at meat eaters home

Help! We are having dinner with some real good friends tonight. She is a fabulous good but always forgets that I am vegan. It is awkard going to her house with my own food, especially when there are several couples there. She is so excited about her menu choices. What can I do without offending the rest of the guests and hostess?

I don't think your hostess would be offended by you bringing something. She would probably be more offended by you not eating! If you're worried, call ahead and ask her if you can bring a vegan dish that would compliment her menu.
