My only concern is where are the eggs and dairy coming from

like the male chicks in egg factories

From here I've realized more vegan is the best for the planet

yet ethically in some ways if you have a chicken or cow or goat that you know exactly how its treated, like a farm near here, the guy was like Bessie had a cold today...

:)

its not to horrific,

but factory farms, its like what's the difference almost at times between eating meat and not in terms of the animals treatment a lot

I think its hypocritical for vegetarians in some way to eat like M & M's

they're still not treated well, and then the sugar source

I hope she's eating ethically raised animal products

I know pregnancy creates cravings, yet you can bring things from home,

there must be something else going on

it is highly surprising

but not to judge, just like are you ok?

but we never now, I was convinced at one point to not be vegan by Chinese Medicine and got lost myself, but now I'd never do that again, I was young....young when I started vegan too and got ill initially, didn't know all the facts.. I know for sure it was not actually the meat I needed but more an energetic issue- thank God! Have to foregive and hope for clarity for all people.

I for one grew up not knowing how to speak up and know my true voice

that last time a accupuncturist said I should maybe eat meat my throat was on fire, like Nooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

maybe she is confused

I love Natalie. This was her first pregnancy, and what she does is her business. Hopefully she will return to being a full on vegan, but as many of you mentioned already, at least she hasn't gone back to eating meat. This is a very restrictive lifestyle that takes a great deal of planning, even with the amount of money she has. I have high hopes for her still. We are all only human.

Honestly I lost respect for Natalie after this moment. Particularly because she knows she has a voice that people will listen to and she is using it to harm the cause. People see this and think - "See! Veganism is bad for you and you need meat and dairy to be healthy. Paticularly when you are pregnant!" It vindicates the ignorant. And worst of all she is eating that crap for two. No, worst of all is she is supporting an industry that grinds male baby chicks alive, separates male calves from their mothers and chains them to a plastic igloo for 6 months before murdering them, and saws the beaks off of chickens. Such a lovely cause on behalf of her baby.

If celebrities want to support the cause, then they should keep quiet if they don't have the willpower to stick to it. I totally "get" it that she fell off the wagon. I'm not judging her for that. What vegan hasn't? But not only did she decide to tell everyone she was sneaking cookies and cupcakes, but she justified it in an atrocious and public way, when she should have just said something along the lines of, "My hormones have played games with me and I've made decisions that I normally wouldn't make because I didn't have my vegan cupcakes on hand when I had a sweets craving! I fully intend on sticking to my vegan guns because I know how bad the dairy is for me and my baby." Instead, she framed it as though being vegan was almost bad for her body during pregnancy. Seriously, now???

The animals deserve better. Not to mention her and her baby's health, and the health of millions of Americans who are currently brainwashed to support the meat and dairy industries. Oh, and maybe the planet, too. Just saying. If this is harsh it's only because I am jealous of the power someone in her position has to make a positive change. And here she undoes some of her own.
