Have you ever been given jewelry by a grandmother, an aunt or even a former lover, that you never wear because it's rather old fashioned or maybe it doesn't fit properly? Well, now you can recycle them into one-of-a-kind contemporary jewelry pieces you'll love to wear. Jewelry designer Sonja Picard has created a program called Recycle Your Love to rework these old "love-me-downs" into contemporary designer pieces that honor the old memories while creating a fresh and fashionable personal statement. In addition to being eco friendly, Sonja feels that we are the custodians of these old gemstones, so we also honor Mother Earth for her beautiful gifts when we recycle these older precious metals and stones.
