Daly's Wish: A Shelter Dog's Letter to his Forever Family

For 3 1/2 amazing months I was lucky enough to have Daly (a 3 1/2 yr old pointer mix) in my home as a foster dog. He is the most wonderful, loving and loyal dog that I have ever known and his forever family is going to be truly blessed to have him in their lives. His greatest joy in life is to be right at the side of his humans. He is so full of love and wants nothing more than a forever family who will love him as much as he loves them. He is going on almost a year in the shelter/foster homes which just breaks my heart beyond belief. He is the shelter and volunteer favorite but despite all this, he is continually overlooked by everyone who comes in looking for their new family member. To help with the search, Daly wrote a letter to his forever family in the hopes they would read it and come get him. I hope Daly gets a wonderful forever home. We have 3 dogs (two of which are rescues) and a rescued cat. It is one of the greatest joys to be able to rescue an animal and to watch them thrive.
what a cutie pie!!! I love him <3 I hope he finds the best home there is.
Where is he now? I can't promise, but I work with doggie adoptions and can try to help find him a home.

if i were the family who deserted the dog, i would have moved OUT of the condo, found a new place to live, and continued loving my dog! that's not even a matter of being kind. that's a matter of being ethical!

Thank you all for your good wishes for Daly. I just wanted to update his status and let you know that he was recently adopted by an amazing family and is so incredibly happy!!
