my boy is 5 months old, and i'd say for the last month i have been so hungry!! i was like this when he was first born but then it subsided. 2 hours after i eat i get totally ravenous and sometimes light headed. i eat pretty healthy and i'm having carbs. i'm still left with 5 lbs i'd like to lose, but at this rate i'm thinking i'll just be putting it back on. any suggestions??

No, no, it will burn off faster than you think bf'g like that. My son was the same. If you are hungry the only answer is to EAT! Otherwise you might jepardize your milk supply and cause yourself and baby much frustration. Plus if you don't eat enough you will hang on to that weight, it is your body's survival instinct.

Very True french momma! Eating regularly keeps your metabolism going.

lol, oh don't worry about that, it's nobody's business anyway! just enjoy this oppurtunity to bond with your baby and pig out at the same time, because when he weans you will have to change your eating habits quickly. ;o)

I was the same way! Even when my daughter was 3 years old, I just ate, and ate, and ate. I felt like I was always hungry.

Make sure you are eating plenty of protein. That is what keeps that full feeling around for longer. And course the low GI stuff.
